OHS Service Council Supports Daffodil Day

OHS Service Council Supports Daffodil Day

Students are raising funds to support New Zealanders affected by cancer.

This Friday, Onehunga High School will be supporting Daffodil Day, the Cancer Society of New Zealand’s major annual fundraising event. Our Service Council is leading the school’s fundraising efforts, with a bake sale and sausage sizzle during Break 1 and Break 2 in front of the TKW Building.

Students and staff are encouraged to come along and support the fundraiser. Members of our school community can also contribute homemade baking, including cupcakes, biscuits, slices and muffins, to support the bake sale.

Funds raised through Daffodil Day help the Cancer Society provide support and services for New Zealanders affected by cancer and their whānau. Those who are unable to attend the fundraiser can support the OHS Daffodil Day campaign online at https://www.daffodilday.org.nz/onehunga-high-school.

Thank you to our Service Council for leading this initiative and to everyone in our school community who supports Daffodil Day.
