Physical Education students put their navigation skills to the test.

On Thursday, 20 August, 56 Year 12 students headed to Duder Regional Park for a two hour orienteering challenge as part of their Level 2 Physical Education assessment.

Students navigated their way around the park, searching for markers while tackling hills, trees, fences and the occasional livestock along the way. The course required students to use their navigation skills, make decisions under pressure and keep going when finding the next marker proved challenging.

It was a fantastic day outside the classroom and an opportunity for students to put their learning into practice in a demanding environment. Well done to all 56 students on their efforts. Now for the next part of the assessment: writing the evaluation!
