Our community consultation for the 2027 to 2029 Strategic Plan is beginning.
Onehunga High School is beginning a period of community consultation to help shape our next three year Strategic Plan for 2027 to 2029. We want to hear from our students, staff, whānau and wider community about their aspirations for our school and what our priorities should be for the next three years.
Our current Strategic Plan was shaped by what our community told us mattered most. They wanted better and more equitable outcomes for all learners, a high performing local school of choice and a safe school. Over the past three years, we have worked hard to deliver on these priorities and have made significant progress across each area.
Now it is time to look ahead. What should the next three years at Onehunga High School look like? What should we continue to strengthen? What new opportunities should we pursue? Most importantly, what do our students and community want from their local secondary school?
There will be several opportunities to contribute, including a Māori whānau hui, Pasifika fono and online questionnaires. We encourage our community to take part and share their ideas, aspirations and priorities.
The feedback we receive will directly inform the development of our 2027 to 2029 Strategic Plan and help determine the direction of Onehunga High School for the next three years.
