We are thrilled to have a new library being built on the campus and beyond grateful to the Nieukerke Charitable Trust for gifting us this remarkable new addition.
Every good library needs a bounty of books to appeal to readers of all ages and interests. Can you buy a book for our Everyone Reads campaign to fill our new library with books and boost literacy for our student community?
If you would like to contribute to our Everyone Reads campaign you can cover the cost of a book by donating $30 towards the campaign.
For every donation we receive we will place a sticker in the front of a book honouring our donors so you have a place in the new history of our library.
“I love libraries. I grew up in libraries and think they’re a brilliant space to encourage learning and start a lifelong love of literature. Having a dedicated facility to contribute to the learning journeys of our Onehunga High School Tamariki is an incredibly exciting moment for the school and we’d love you to play a part in filling our library with amazing books.”

Can you sponsor a shelf?
We love nothing more than a book shelf full with knowledge. Different books, different perspectives and an array of covers enticing students to learn and grow. Become one of our shelf sponsors to support filling an entire shelf in our new library with new books.
You can sponsor a shelf with a contribution of $1,000 towards our Everyone Reads campaign. Shelf sponsors will have the opportunity to have their name alongside the shelf as a supporter of Onehunga High School. For more information about how to sponsor a shelf email Clare at [email protected]
