On Monday, our Year 11 Drama students from OHS visited Three Kings Primary School to perform their original devised piece, The Inventor, for the Year 3 and 4 classes.
The students have been working hard over the past six weeks to create an engaging and interactive performance, especially for the younger audience.
The show featured colourful, larger-than-life characters and a storyline typical of Theatre in Education, with a friendly protagonist, a mischievous antagonist, and a strong moral message at its heart. The primary school children were captivated by the performance and thoroughly enjoyed the creativity and energy on stage.
Following the show, the OHS students stayed in character to answer questions from the children. This not only entertained the younger students further but also gave our senior students the chance to showcase the depth of their characters and storytelling.
