Week 9 produced a number of positive results across OHS sports.
Basketball teams recorded three wins, with the U17 Boys defeating Waitākere 28–25, Junior Boys Green overcoming Kelston Boys' High School 42–30, and the U17 Girls defeating Macleans College 47–29.
In football, the U15 Boys secured a 5–0 result against MAGS, while the U13 Boys Development team recorded a 5–2 win over Green Bay 9 Development. The Girls 1st XI also collected three points with a 3–0 win over Howick College.
Hockey saw the Mixed 6ers White team awarded a win by default.
Netball teams continued to produce strong results. Premier Netball defeated Selwyn Premier 41–28, Year 10A recorded a 29–10 win over Glendowie Lilac, Year 10B edged Baradene Yellow 15–13, and Year 9B defeated EGGS Amethyst 16–7.
In rugby, the 1st XV recorded a 24–19 win over Macleans.
Across the week, OHS teams collected victories in basketball, football, hockey, netball and rugby, with several sides continuing to build momentum as the season progresses.
