Today's 3–0 victory over Avondale College secured second place in the A1 League and a chance to earn promotion to the Premier competition.

The Onehunga High School Girls' 1st XI finished their A1 League campaign in style today with a convincing 3–0 win over Avondale College.

The result secures second place on the A1 ladder and gives the team the opportunity to play for promotion to the Premier competition at the start of next season. They will face Diocesan School in the promotion play-off.

The team will also step up to Premier competition over the coming weeks as they compete in the knockout cup, with their first match taking place this Wednesday. Congratulations to the Girls' 1st XI on an excellent league season, and all the best for the exciting challenges ahead.
