The Programme brought students together under the theme Reconnect, Reflect, Reinforce and Renew.
Onehunga High School has been involved with the programme since its inception, with the initiative expanding further this year. The final workshop focused on preparing students for their next steps, with individual leadership and career plans, career insights and networking opportunities with representatives from tertiary education, Police, the Defence Force, trades and the commercial sector.
Students also took part in leadership reflection and development activities before being presented with their BCT pins. Over the years, a number of OHS students who have taken part in the programme have gone on to leadership roles in their final year, including as prefects and leaders within the wider community. Planning is now underway to identify our students for the 2027 programme.
