Dornia and Aiveni took to the stage at this year’s Stand Up Stand Out competition.

Earlier this month, Year 11 students Dornia Silupe Ulumani and Aiveni Fahina took the stage together for the Stand Up Stand Out Group Vocal heats.The pair performed Whakamoemiti by Stan Walker at Te Puke ō Tara Community Centre, alongside choirs, ensembles and vocal groups from schools across Auckland.

The competition provided an opportunity to perform in a supportive environment, receive feedback from the judges and hear other young musicians. It was also a chance to connect with students from other schools and share their enjoyment of music and performance.

Well done to Dornia and Aiveni for representing OHS and making the most of this valuable performance opportunity.
