The latest Careers newsletter is packed with opportunities for students planning their next steps.
The latest edition of Future Focus, our OHS Careers newsletter, is now available. It includes information about university applications and scholarships, tertiary Open Days, student loans and allowances, employment opportunities, gap year programmes and volunteering.
Students can also explore opportunities across healthcare, film, design, trades and IT, along with free school holiday programmes in art and design. There is information about careers in civil construction and the New Zealand Police, local employment opportunities, and University of Auckland updates covering scholarships, accommodation and course planning.
Looking ahead to Term 4, Careers Advisor Mrs Kirstin Shaw will be running workshops to support students preparing for employment. These will include CV writing, interview skills and advice on finding work. Students at all year levels are welcome to take part. We encourage students and whānau to read Future Focus and explore the opportunities available. Whether considering further study, training or employment, there is plenty of useful information to help students plan their next steps.
