Understanding and Supporting Student Wellbeing

Join leading mental health experts for a free SchoolTV webinar exploring practical ways to support young people and strengthen resilience.

Parents, caregivers, whānau and school staff are invited to join a free SchoolTV webinar focused on supporting the wellbeing of young people and building resilience.

Presented by international experts Dr Emma Woodward and Dr Joe Stammeijer, this session will explore practical, evidence-informed approaches that whānau and educators can use to support children and teenagers in everyday life.

Topics include:

  • Staying calm and connected
  • Building positive daily routines
  • Meeting the needs of neurodivergent learners

The webinar, Understanding Anxiety and Depression to Foster Resilience (Part II), is part of SchoolTV's ongoing series designed to strengthen mental health literacy across school communities. Participants will gain a better understanding of how to recognise when young people may need additional support and learn practical strategies to help them navigate challenges with confidence.
