Year 13 student Ellen makes an outstanding contribution across school life.

Ellen is a school prefect who has demonstrated excellence across a wide range of school events and activities. She has served as a Peer Support mentor, helping junior students with their transition to Onehunga High School and supporting their learning throughout the year. On stage, Ellen has been actively involved in the school's production of Macbeth and played a leading role in this year's OHS Talent Quest. On the sports field, she has represented the school as a football goalkeeper while also giving back as a coach and referee for the junior girls' team.

Ellen approaches every role with enthusiasm, dedication and a genuine commitment to others. Through her leadership, she has encouraged and inspired those around her to participate, grow and succeed. As the final Year 13 WAKA Award recipient from the Class of 2026, Ellen is a student who truly embodies our WAKA values. We thank her for the positive contribution she has made to OHS.

Ka mau te wehi, Ellen!
