North & South Trust Supports New Outdoor Canopy Project at Onehunga High School

Onehunga High School is pleased to have received $20,000 in funding from North & South Trust Ltd towards the development of our new outdoor canopy. Construction is expected to begin in late 2026. The canopy will transform an underutilised area of the school into a covered space that students can enjoy throughout the year. It will also provide a venue for community education programmes, workshops, cultural events and other gatherings, regardless of the weather.

The new space will support shared activities with our neighbouring intermediate school, extending the benefits of the project to more young people and families in our local community. We sincerely thank North & South Trust Ltd for its generous contribution towards this important project.

Through a range of successful funding applications, the school has now secured a total of $136,000 towards the canopy.
